I can stand him alot better than I can Marriotti (sp?) from Around the Horn. I hate that [censored].
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

Both are useless. Mariotti is the worst form of human life in existance. I wish Ozzy Guillen had gotten a chance to rip him a new [censored].

    Re: Skip Bayless

Welcome to ESPN and the travesty known as shock journalism. You have Mariotti, Jim Rome, Skip Bayless, etc. They are just there to incite controversy so people will get outraged and keep watching.

The days are long gone when Bob Lee and Chris Berman were the front men. The days of good reporting and nice stories are over with. When you get a good anchor like Harold Reynolds, you end up firing him over some PC crap. Jason Whitlock sucked, he was borderline racist, but he lost his job on the same PC type crap. ESPN sucks but what can you do, there are no other networks. Id love nothing more but to see ESPN get some real competition.

    Re: Skip Bayless

I must be in the minority here but I love all of those guys that have been mentioned, except for Jason Whitlock and Chris Berman. Jay has always been right on when it comes to the Cubs and White Sox and Skip Bayless constantly bashes TO & Bonds when he gets the chance and that's a good thing in my book. Jim Rome is an acquired taste, but his radio program is much better than what you see on TV.
The test is simple, if "your" team wins a national championship, do you get a championship ring? If the answer is yes, then you can say "we." If not, you can't.
